As a Sales & Event Manager in the Hotel Industry, your role will involve various responsibilities to ensure successful events and client satisfaction: - **Prospecting and Sales:** - Identifying new business opportunities and developing sales plans. - Pitching event ideas to potential clients. - **Client Relations:** - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. - Understanding client needs and providing exceptional customer service. - **Event Planning and Execution:** - Developing event concepts and managing logistics. - Overseeing the smooth execution of events. - **Budget Management:** - Developing and managing event budgets. - Ensuring expenses are within allocated funds. - **Marketing and Promotion:** - Developing marketing strategies to promote events. - Attracting attendees to the events. - **Post-Event Evaluation:** - Collecting feedback and analyzing data for event success measurement. - Identifying areas for improvement based on evaluation results. - **Vendor Management:** - Sourcing and negotiating with vendors for quality and cost-effectiveness. - Collaborating with venues, caterers, etc., for event requirements. - **Team Management:** - Supervising and coordinating event staff, volunteers, and contractors. - Ensuring smooth operations during events. - **Problem-solving:** - Addressing any issues that arise during event planning or execution. **Required Skills/Abilities:** - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. - Excellent organizational and attention to detail abilities. - Proficient in Microsoft Office. - Strong leadership and supervisory skills. - Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
