Estimation / Propsal Engineer

Ø Study and analyze client inquiries, tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications. Ø Prepare technical and commercial proposals for electrical projects (EPC, panels, automation, etc.). Ø Estimate material, labor, and service costs based on project requirements. Ø Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to obtain quotations for equipment and components. Ø Develop accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ), costing sheets, and price breakups. Ø Ensure proposals comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. Ø Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams to finalize proposals. Ø Prepare technical clarifications and responses to client queries during the bidding stage. Ø Support negotiation and assist the sales team in finalizing orders/contracts. Ø Maintain database of past proposals, vendor rates, and market trends for future use. Ø Ensure timely submission of tenders and proposals within deadlines. Ø Review client inquiries, technical specifications, SLDs, and tender documents for LT/HT panels. Ø Prepare cost estimation, BOQ, and technical-commercial proposals for electrical panels (PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, PLC, VFD, etc.). Ø Coordinate with design team to finalize panel layouts, GA drawings, and compliance requirements. Ø Source quotations from vendors for switchgear, busbars, meters, relays, and other panel components. Ø Analyze technical compliance with IEC/IS standards and customer specifications. Ø Prepare costing sheets, price breakups, and optimized solutions. Ø Liaise with sales and project teams for finalization of proposals. Ø Provide technical clarifications and respond to client queries during pre- and post-bid stages. Ø Maintain updated database of vendor prices, material costs, and market trends. Ø Ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and submitted within deadlines.
