Estimation Manager MEP (Quantity Surveyor)

Manager Estimation for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing services)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Must have Pre-contract experience.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labour, and equipment required for MEPF packages.
• Utilize estimating software, excel spreadsheets, and other tools to accurately calculate quantities.
• Develop comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for all the MEPF packages and at different life cycle stages of projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of cost elements, including material expenses, labor rates, equipment costs, direct and indirect expenditures, as well as overhead and profit (OHP)
• Preparation of tender documents, including ITB, bills of quantities and specifications.
• Evaluate and analyse bids and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Create and finalize technical specifications for the MEPF works according to master formats, including code compliance.
• Performs product research; assists designers with material selection and system research. Co-ordination with suppliers to gather material specification & services and its prices.
• Maintenance and update database of Subcontractor and Suppliers.
• Demonstrate robust expertise in design and construction of residential and commercial buildings and Infra projects.
• Performs product research; assists design team with material selection and system research. Co-ordination with suppliers to gather material & services rates.
• Maintain and update database of Vendors/OEM/Subcontractor database
• Demonstrate robust expertise in both residential and commercial construction projects.
• Analyze historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to enhance the accuracy of BoQ and Estimate
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
• Provide budget and detailed estimates at various design development phases for MEPF works
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encouraging continuous learning and development within the team.
