Estimation Engineer – Backend Office (Marine Projects)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer to support our Dubai marine projects from the Calicut backend office. The candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and commercial proposals for marine and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for marine / engineering projects
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
• Prepare BOQ, cost comparison sheets, and tender documents
• Coordinate with UAE project team for technical and commercial inputs
• Collect vendor quotations and update cost databases
• Support tender submission and post-tender clarifications
• Maintain proper documentation and estimation records

Qualification (Mandatory)

• BTech or Diploma in Engineering only
• (Mechanical / Electrical / Marine / Civil or related fields)

Experience (Mandatory)

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in estimation / tendering / backend engineering
• Experience in marine, ship repair, offshore, oil & gas, or industrial projects preferred
• UAE / GCC project estimation experience is an added advantage

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel (costing & estimation sheets)
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and technical documents
• Familiarity with estimation / costing tools is a plus
• Good understanding of materials, labor, and subcontract costing

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate

• Experienced backend professional
• Ready to work from Calicut office
• Marine / industrial project background preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
