AutoCAD Draftsman/woman

looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman / Design & Documentation Engineer to support our marine engineering and automation projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and maintaining engineering documentation in compliance with marine and class requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings related to marine systems (electrical, instrumentation, automation, or mechanical layouts).
• Develop GA drawings, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, cable routing drawings, and system schematics.
• Prepare and maintain technical documents, including BOQ, I/O lists, cable schedules, and drawing registers.
• Coordinate with project engineers to understand design requirements and implement revisions.
• Ensure drawings and documents comply with marine standards, class rules, and client specifications.
• Maintain proper version control and documentation records.
• Support project execution teams during installation and commissioning phases when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Marine Engineering.
• Proven experience in AutoCAD (2D) for engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of marine systems and shipboard installations (preferred).
• Ability to prepare and manage engineering documentation accurately.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills may also be considered.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in marine automation / electrical systems.
• Knowledge of shipyard or onboard project execution.
• Familiarity with class societies (ABS, DNV, BV, LR – advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
