Estimation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and commercial understanding of industrial automation projects, particularly in the areas of PLC systems and drives. This role involves evaluating client inquiries, developing accurate cost estimates, and providing technical expertise to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and interpret client inquiries to determine project scope and requirements.

2. Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial automation projects, including PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI and drives systems.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical and commercial alignment.

4. Evaluate vendor proposals and assist in supplier negotiations.

5. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

6. Tracking the inquiry, follow up, coordinating and responding to any changes.

7. Sound knowledge of Automation panels, PLC, SCADA, DCS, Drives, HMI etc.

8. Knowledge of ISO documentation will be desired.

Qualification & Experience:-

1. B.E. / Diploma (Electrical / EC / IC / Power Electronics)

2. Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience handling estimation profile

Job location: Surat, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) & Gurugram

Desired Candidate Profile:-

1. Proven experience in estimation for industrial automation projects.

2. Strong understanding of control panel components, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), SCADA, DCS, HMI and VFD.

3. Experience on SIECOST software will be preferable.

4. Good eye for detail in estimation and preparing commercial offer.
