Estimation & Billing Engineer

As an Estimation, Billing, Cost & Tendering Engineer at Amogh ABS in Chennai, India, you will play a crucial role in various aspects of project management. Your responsibilities will include: - **Estimation & Costing:** - Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. - Develop BOQs and conduct thorough rate analysis using CPWD/DSR norms and market trends. - Coordinate with vendors for pricing and material cost validation. - Analyze technical specifications and project drawings for tendering purposes. - **Billing & Cost Management:** - Prepare and certify RA (Running Account) and final bills for clients and subcontractors. - Validate on-site measurements and update project billing reports. - Maintain cost tracking, material reconciliation, and variation statements. - Ensure cost control through timely analysis of actual vs. estimated costs. - **Tendering:** - Support tender documentation preparation including commercial and technical bids. - Attend pre-bid meetings and assist in contract review processes. - Liaise with procurement and planning teams for bid inputs and delivery timelines. - **Technical Drawing & Visualization (Advantage):** - Should have good knowledge of construction drawings and technical detailing. - Experience in AutoCAD 2D/3D drafting is essential. - 3D rendering or visualization skills using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools will be an added advantage. **Requirements:** - Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma with relevant experience may be considered) - Experience: Minimum 3 years in estimation, billing, tendering in the construction industry - **Technical Skills:** - Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, with 3D rendering as a strong plus - Strong in MS Excel, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis - Knowledge of CPWD norms, DSR, and local market rates - Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) - **Additional Skills:** - Ability to interpret and work with complex architectural/structural drawings - Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including internet reimbursement and Provident Fund.
