Equity Research Analyst

You will be joining our team as an Equity and Mutual Funds Research Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in conducting research and analysis on equity markets, mutual funds, and various investment products. Your responsibilities will include utilizing platforms like ValueResearchOnline and Morningstar to analyze mutual fund performance, portfolio composition, and risk metrics. Additionally, you will monitor market developments, news, and regulatory changes impacting equity and mutual fund investments. Collaborating with senior analysts and the Research Head, you will help in building financial models, conducting valuation analysis, and developing investment theses. You will also assist in generating research reports and investment recommendations, contributing to actionable investment insights. To qualify for this role, you should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, with a specialization in Finance being preferred. You are expected to have a basic understanding of equity and mutual fund investing, including key concepts such as valuation, portfolio management, and risk assessment. Proficiency in using research platforms like ValueResearchOnline and Morningstar is essential, along with knowledge of economic, sector, and company analysis techniques. Strong analytical and quantitative skills are a must, as you will be required to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also important, as you will be presenting complex information clearly and concisely. Prior experience in mutual fund or equity research is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
