Job Description You will be working as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officer for HCP Plastene Bulkpack Limited, based in Ahmedabad. Your role will involve monitoring and ensuring compliance with local and international environmental, health, and safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, developing safety protocols, managing training programs, and ensuring workplace safety standards are met. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to promote a safety culture, incident investigation, and preparation of detailed reports for regulatory compliance and continuous improvement will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities - Conducting risk assessments, hazard identification, and workplace inspections - Developing and implementing safety policies, standard operating procedures, and training programs - Overseeing training programs and ensuring workplace safety standards are met - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety - Investigating incidents and preparing detailed reports for regulatory compliance and continuous improvement Qualifications - Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, hazard identification, and workplace inspections - Ability to develop and implement safety policies, standard operating procedures, and training programs - Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance standards, and waste management practices - Effective communication and reporting skills for incident investigation and documentation - Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks governing environmental health and safety - Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities for proactive and reactive safety measures - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field - Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are advantageous - Experience with manufacturing or the industrial sector is a significant plus,
