Environmental Health and Safety Manager

• Must be handled in Work Permit system, TBT, JSA, HW Waste management, PPE management, HSE inspections, etc.
  Hazardous waste management requirements
• Managing whole site HSE related activities in Project Management.
• Ensuring of daily toolbox talk and weekly safety meetings for safety related issues
• Auditors of all work related permits as Permit to work system after making sure that all work conditions are suitable for work
• Conducting weekly co-ordination meeting with site management for introduction of high risk activities and basic safety requirements
• Participating weekly walkthroughs with client and for improvement in controlling work related hazards to the site
• Keep informed of emerging health and safety issues and promote best practice through consultation with colleagues and mine site officials
• Dealing with mine operators who may have a limited understanding of their legal obligations, or who may be concerned at the possible implications of compliance action.
• Gaining the confidence of mine operators and workers, through the development of cooperative and open relationships
• Maintain safety training, inspection, and accident investigation documents in a centralized, accessible file
• Document injuries, safety committee meetings, hazard corrections, and employee safety training
• Preparation of MIS reports for Site management and HO

Note: Must have knowledge in World bank funding project works.

Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's in engineering (civil or environmental) or Master in environmental or related sciences with OHS certification having 10-15 yrs of experience in Construction/Infrastructure industry preferable
