Job Description

i. Key Areas

Manager is responsible for ensuring that the steel plant operates in full compliance with all environmental regulations and sustainability standards.

This includes managing air, water, noise, and waste pollution controls, obtaining and renewing statutory clearances, and driving environmental best practices across the plant.

To lead (EMS), ensure monitoring and reporting to regulatory bodies, and support ISO 14001 implementation.

The role involves close coordination with production, maintenance, CSR, and external agencies to ensure zero non-compliance and promote environmental sustainability.

ii. Responsibility

Handing Instruments analysis UV/Visible Spectrophotometer Perkin Elmer/LAMBDA25.
Water Sampling Analysis of Ground Water,WasteWater,Followed APHA23rdEdition &IS:3025 Drinking Water Parameters as per IS 10500: 2012. •STPInlet&Outlet,ETPOutlet,WTPinlet&OutletSampling&Analysis.
Reporting and communication
NABLAudit Process ISO 9001:2015etc.
FAEMemberinNABET,WP(WaterPollution& AQ (Ambient Air Quality Modeling)Approved ABET.
MonitoringofEnvironmentalPollutionControlequipments
Operation &MaintenanceofCAAQMS,OCEMS, Weather Station & STPOnline Sensors

• Inter Laboratory Comparison of Water& Waste Water and Ore &Minerals Sample. All compliances in accordance to KSPCB and CPCB.

Preferred candidate profile

Preparation of various industries KSPCB & CPCB Rules compliance reports.
Environmental Clerance related works through PARIVESH portalatstateandcentrallevel.
Preparation of the Environmental Monitoring Reports.
Documentation Preparation for ISO 9001,OHSAS45001&14001.
