Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job postings to onboarding. Drive campus hiring initiatives and relationships with institutes. ¢ Lead employee engagement and retention programs. ¢ Oversee HR operations, payroll coordination, and HRIS. ¢ Ensure all HR statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment, etc.). ¢ Develop and update HR policies and SOPs. ¢ Support leadership with performance management and training plans. ¢ Act as a trusted HR partner ensuring transparent communication across teams. Job Title: EHS Engineer Location: Kharagpur Department: Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Experience: Minimum 2+ years Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Environmental Safety M.Tech in Industrial Safety (preferred) Job Summary: The EHS Engineer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the organizations Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) systems and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. This role requires hands-on experience in safety operations, audits, risk assessments, and compliance management to ensure a safe and sustainable working environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Safety Management & Implementation Develop and implement safety policies, SOPs, and standards across the facility. Monitor workplace safety practices and ensure adherence to EHS guidelines. Conduct daily EHS inspections and corrective action follow-ups. 2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA). Implement risk-mitigation measures and track their effectiveness. Support incident/accident investigations and root-cause analysis (RCA). 3. Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal EHS requirements (Factory Act, OSHA, Environmental Laws, Pollution Control Board norms, etc.). Maintain updated EHS documentation, permits, licenses, and audit records. Coordinate with government bodies during inspections or audits. 4. Training & Awareness Conduct EHS training programs, toolbox talks, and safety inductions. Promote awareness on safe work practices among employees and contractors. 5. Emergency Preparedness Assist in preparation and execution of emergency response plans and mock drills. Ensure availability and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment and emergency systems. 6. Environmental Management Monitor waste management, effluent handling, and pollution control measures. Support initiatives related to sustainability, energy conservation, and environmental improvement. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance Experience with HIRA, JSA, safety audits Incident investigation and reporting Good communication and training skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams Proficiency in MS Office and EHS documentation Preferred Certifications: NEBOSH / IOSH / Safety Diploma (added advantage)
