Environment Manager

Role & responsibilities :

• Environmental Compliance & Permits.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and project approvals (MoEF, SPCB, CPCB, etc.).
• Obtain, maintain, and renew environmental permits and clearances.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports to regulatory authorities.
• Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMP) for construction activities.
• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and risk assessments.
• Maintain documentation and records as per ISO 14001 standards.
• Site Monitoring & Control.
• Monitor air, water, noise, and soil quality at site as per norms.
• Ensure waste management, hazardous material handling, and spill control measures.
• Implement dust suppression, noise control, and water conservation practices.
• Training & Awareness.
• Conduct toolbox talks, training programs, and awareness sessions for site staff and workers.
• Promote a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
• Reporting & Documentation.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly environmental compliance reports.
• Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and government bodies for audits and inspections.
• Support ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting as required.
• Sustainability Initiatives.
• Promote energy efficiency, resource conservation, and green construction practices.
• Implement initiatives to reduce the projects carbon footprint.

Preferred candidate profile :

B.Tech / M.Tech with Environment and Safety degree
