Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the Arista Sales team, you will be the face of Arista to customers, serving as their internal champion to address their challenges and align Arista's technical resources to achieve their business outcomes. You will collaborate with Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive teams to ensure successful execution on behalf of the customers. The sales team at Arista values teamwork, providing you with a supportive environment to collaborate with like-minded professionals. This role typically reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for managing a set of named accounts or an assigned territory. - Ensure the achievement of sales targets. - Prospect and acquire new clients. - Demonstrate expertise in securing business in new accounts/territories. - Conduct Key Account Planning & Management. - Build Executive relationships and engage with C-level executives. - Utilize networking, security, and cloud product knowledge for solution sales. - Engage with Channel Partners effectively and possess knowledge of the market landscape. Qualifications: - Demonstrate a hunter mentality and a successful track record in technology sales, including nurturing existing customer relationships and acquiring new logo accounts. - Experience preferably from Networking, Security, or IT/Cloud OEM, or a large IT systems integrator. - Hold a B Tech/MBA degree or an equivalent qualification along with 10+ years of technology sales experience. - Proven success in direct selling within verticals like Enterprise/BFSI/PSU/Conglomerates/Cloud/ITES in the assigned territory. - Background/knowledge in data center networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) is advantageous. - Possess a strong Rolodex and relationships with industry leaders, CXOs, and partners. - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. - Previous sales experience and technical expertise in areas such as Networking, SDN, NFV, Security, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing.
