Enterprise Account Executive - Mumbai

Role Overview: As an Enterprise Account Executive at Kong Inc., based in Mumbai, India, you will play a crucial role in selling the Kong Enterprise Platform to enterprise customers. Your main responsibilities will include developing and executing a pipeline generation strategy, meeting individual quotas, and taking ownership of your book of business. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless sales experience and represent Kong professionally to support customers effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Sell Kong Enterprise Platform to enterprise customers by developing and executing a pipeline generation strategy. - Meet individual quotas and objectives while being responsible for assigned territory account planning and forecasting. - Take ownership of your book of business, understand the buying criteria and process, ensure pipeline accuracy, and work leads to closure. - Collaborate with internal teams like product, marketing, and customer success to ensure alignment with customer needs. - Travel to customer sites as required (30% - 50% of the time). Qualifications Required: - True desire to see customers benefit from their investment with Kong. - 10 years or more of experience in selling enterprise software. - Demonstrated success in selling to large enterprises, particularly to senior-level executives across multiple departments. - Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success. - Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, adapt to changing market dynamics, and identify business growth opportunities. - Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. - Motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
