Job Description

As an experienced sales professional interested in selling into enterprise accounts, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the company by acquiring new customers. Your role as an Enterprise Account Executive based in Mumbai, India, will involve being the primary point of contact and representing Kong to prospects. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a pipeline generation strategy to sell Kong Enterprise Platform to enterprise customers. - Meet individual quotas and objectives while being responsible for assigned territory account planning and forecasting. - Take ownership of your book of business by understanding the buying criteria and process, ensuring pipeline accuracy, and working leads to closure. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless sales experience and alignment with customer needs. - Represent Kong professionally and provide support to customers. - Ability to travel to customer sites as required (30% - 50%). Qualifications Required: - 10 years or more of experience in selling enterprise software. - Demonstrated success in selling to large enterprises, particularly to senior-level executives and across multiple departments. - Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success. - Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, adapting to changing market dynamics. - Analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify business growth opportunities. - Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills. - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. - Motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
