What You’ll Be Doing...

• Translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Identifying design problems and devise elegant solutions.
• Taking a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Understanding product specifications and user psychology
• Conducting concept and usability testing & gather feedback
• Creating personas through user research and data
• Defining the right interaction model and evaluate its success
• Finding creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g., usability, findability)
• Working with UI designers/developers to implement attractive designs
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders.
• Communicating design ideas and prototypes to developers
• Keeping abreast of competitor products and industry trends
• Experiencing working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant UX design experience.
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Adobe XD, InVision, Figma, and the like is a must.
• Basic Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills is a plus.
• Ability to work with users to understand requirements and design complete user experiences
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
  

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Experience with UX writing, content strategy, or designing voice user interfaces (VUI).
• Professional certifications from recognized design or usability institutions (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group).
