Job Description

Conduct audits of supplier facilities focusing on QMS implementation, process capability, and delivery performance.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors based on technical capability, financial stability, and compliance with company requirements.
Assess manufacturing feasibility for castings, forgings, machining, and sheet metal parts.
Evaluate supplier processes including material handling, machining operations, heat treatment, finishing, and assembly steps.
Analyze quality control systems, identify bottlenecks or risks, and recommend improvements.
Provide technical guidance to suppliers for process improvements, yield enhancement, and waste reduction. Implement supplier rationalization and cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with best manufacturing and inspection standards required for machine tool industry.
Drive supplier quality systems through implementation of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and other QA tool.
Work closely with design, purchase, and production teams to align supplier capabilities with production requirements.
Support prototype and new product development activities through supplier engagement.
