Press Shop Shift Leader

Roles and Responsibility 1. Manufacturing Engineering: Press: Understand the Press Process and Equipment in detail, plan for Process improvement. Work closely with internal stake holders like Production, Maintenance, Die Maintenance to understand the requirement. Identify the supplier. 2. Work closely to form the Statement of Requirement. Work closely with supplier team for finalizing the scope of work, timeline, Inco terms. Able to develop system like PFMEA, Risk assessment, Process control Plan, Panel Surface and Dimensional Quality. 3.Process the Purchase Requisition in SAP and other Hyundai System. Detail knowledge of Press and Die function is a must. Understand the Press panel manufacturing and Try-out process. Knowledge of AutoCAD, UG etc will be preferred. Knowledge of Engineering Dwg is a must. 4. Purchase of Items: Plan and monitor the budget for Press shop. Understand the Finance terminology for Capital. Revenue and Expense items. Knows the Import and Export requirements for capital Items. Is able to work with Custom and transport team for delivery of items in smooth manner. 5. Assets Monitoring: Understand the assets and keeps the track of assets, their condition, identification and disposal with right process and documentation. 6. Process Improvement and Innovation: Can identify the shortcomings in process like bottle neck. Can plan the countermeasure for the same in timely manner. Is aware of the Press OEE and is able to support actions for the OEE improvement. 7. New Project: Work closely with Project team to identify the project scope, plan for the fulfilment the requirement with focus on timeline and quality of products and processes 8. Quality Management: Internal & External Customer Problems analysis, Panel Problems related to Productivity, Quality solving, OS & D Countermeasures. IMS/EMS: Is aware of the IMS 9001 and ISO 14001 standards its implementation in Press shop. 9.. Profitability; Direct Material & Other Cost Saving and Innovative project execution 10. Audits, Standards & Skill Up; ISO, TS, IMEA Audit, KPI 11. Safety; Near Miss identification, Improvement, Holiday work planning, Shift Schedule and Manpower planning with supplier Should be ready to work in shifts, Shutdown activity
