Maintenance Manager (FIBC Industry)

• Contacting businesses and presenting details of our portfolio of products
• Asking questions to understand customers requirements.

Responsibilities

• Team leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance mechanics and technicians.
• Maintenance programs: Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repair: Lead the team in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to resolve breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Continuous improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency, enhance equipment reliability, and reduce costs.
• Budget management: Track expenses, monitor line efficiencies, and manage the maintenance department budget.
• Inventory control: Monitor and control the inventory of spare parts and other maintenance materials.
• Vendor management: Coordinate with and manage external contractors and service providers for specialized repair work or materials.
• Safety and compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Record-keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment history records.
• Capital projects: Participate in the planning and execution of capital expenditure projects for new or upgraded equipment.

• The maintenance manager ensures that all manufacturing equipment, such as extrusion, weaving, lamination, and sewing machines, are maintained and repaired to ensure continuous production and minimize downtime.
• This role involves developing preventative maintenance programs, managing budgets, and implementing continuous improvement strategies while ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. (B.TECH, B.E. & DIPLOMA
