Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electrical & Electronics Sourcing)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electrical & Electronics Sourcing) to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing electrical and electronic components, ensuring that materials meet quality standards, budget constraints, and project timelines. This role entails working closely with various stakeholders, including design engineers, suppliers, and production teams.

1.   Should have strong knowledge in Electrical Electronics components sourcing, 
2.  Should have costing knowledge of electrical and electronics products and negotiation skills to negotiate with the Supplier.
3.   Should be able to do cost estimation for all electrical & electronics products like cabinets, switch gear, cables & wiring harnesses and various electromechanical components.
4.  Knowledge on SAP modules relating to Purchasing.
5.  Order Processing and Tracking: Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
6.  Should be able to analyse and resolve the quality issues with supplier.
7.  Understanding the problems and communicating to respective departments. Monitoring weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly activities & Improve supplier Process.
8.  Responsible for Supplier Evaluation, Supplier Qualification and Supplier Performance monitoring
9.   Provide technical guidance to suppliers to assure product/process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
10.  To review APQP from supplier for child parts & ensure that supplier adhering to the project timeline.
11.  Conducting PPAP audits at supplier and releasing the part, also to identify any non-conformances & opportunities for improvement and to get the corrective action from the supplier.
12.  Preparing monthly KPI reports and presenting it to management.

• Good at buying, negotiation, and agreement/contract administration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage / lead multiple projects and changing priorities.
