Job Description

The role is with a leading General Insurance Firm.


Role – Engineering Underwriting.

Designation – Lead or AVP.

Location – Mumbai HO.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of underwriting strategies (risk analysis, terms conditions, portfolio mix & profitability) and solutions (e.g. product development, underwriting tools and processes).
  • Operate within established organization Risk Policy, Underwriting Guideline, underwriting governance policies and local rules & regulations.
  • Contribute to development of technical underwriting guidelines, and Best Practices, including controls and procedures.


Qualifications

  • Good understanding of Commercial Line Underwriting especially Engineering LOB.

  • Logical thinking ability
  • Sound analytical & solution oriented mindset.
  • Good presentation & communication skills
  • Good in Excel & MIS Analysis
