Engineering Project Manager - Identity and Access Management

Apple is looking for an experienced Engineering Program/Project Manager to join the Identity Management Services team. You should possess a strong technical background, business acumen, and exceptional program/project management skills to lead various cross-functional and cross-geographic initiatives. Your role will involve delivering end-to-end Identity Product and platform experiences for Apple's Consumer and Corporate customers. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and direction setting for Apple's Identity Management Services Products and Platform. The ideal candidate should be proactive in adapting to changes efficiently and should be excited about working on critical strategic initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will independently lead projects of varying scale and complexity with cross-functional development teams. Your responsibilities will include reviewing business requirements, ensuring clarity, establishing expectations for services requested, developing and executing processes, frameworks, metrics, project plans, defining scope, schedule, deliverables, and resources. Prioritizing team activities, driving issue resolution across all program areas, and effectively communicating status and issues to teams, leadership, and partners will be essential. Risk assessment and mitigation plans will also be a part of your role. You will be working on driving mission-critical programs with cross-functional organizations and teams, managing details as well as the big picture, and representing the engineering teams with both internal and external organizations within Apple. Minimum Qualifications: - 4+ years of proven track record in program/project or product management roles or similar management consulting/Investment Banking experience. - Ability to conceptualize and drive sophisticated projects with cross-functional teams, competing priorities, and tight timelines. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels and develop partnerships. - Experience and knowledge of Agile Development. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or deep related field of work experience. MBA or equivalent business education is a plus. - Technical background is preferred. - Experience with Identity Management solutions is helpful but not mandatory. - Experience managing projects involving high-scale distributed systems, particularly those handling billions of transactions.
