As a Quality Assurance Engineer for BESS Renewable Projects, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that all quality processes are followed by the team in accordance with SFQP and approved drawings. This includes proper documentation with traceability for field activities related to BESS projects. You will also be required to attend RFIs raised by the construction team, manage field quality engineers, off-roll personnel, and TPI ers on a daily basis. Your role will involve monitoring and controlling quality issues and non-conformities during RFI and raw material inspections at the vendor end for BESS Materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing field testing activities according to planned schedules and SFQP protocols, as well as issuing Quality Clearance Certificates to site contractors for UD Clearance. In this position, you will lead continual quality improvement initiatives within BESS Renewable Projects and provide coordination and technical guidance to all team members as per organizational requirements. You will also be expected to liaise with both internal and external customers for BESS Renewable projects and conduct failure analysis of equipment using methods such as RCA, CAPA, and FMEA. Furthermore, you will play a key role in ensuring vendor performance evaluation for improvements as per project requirements, identifying risks and opportunities with mitigation plans, and ensuring that all quality records are uploaded on a common server in real-time. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that all documentation and records are in compliance with the Quality Management System. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.Tech degree in any discipline.,
