Description
As a Technical Project Manager for the Wireless program management team at Cisco, your role will involve managing cross-functional Enterprise Software Solutions and Programs in a matrix organization. You will be responsible for developing and managing end-to-end project plans, ensuring on-time delivery, and providing action-based program management throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will be crucial in performing risk management, organizational change, and overall Release management. Additionally, you will play a key role in setting objectives, defining measurable metrics, and building dashboards to track and measure program progress. Key Responsibilities: - Manage cross-functional Enterprise Software Solutions and Programs in a matrix organization covering various areas across CISCO Networking group. - Develop and manage end-to-end project plans to ensure on-time delivery. - Provide action-based program management throughout the project lifecycle. - Perform risk management, organizational change, and overall Release management. - Help set objectives, define measurable metrics, and build dashboards to track progress. - Drive consensus, alignment, and communicate strategic program directions. - Identify, document, and track program dependencies for successful execution. - Ensure effective communication within multi-functional teams. - Possess strong leadership, critical thinking, organizational excellence, and data analysis skills. - Have a fair understanding of Networking principles and Protocols. - Proactively establish practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships that impact the Enterprise Wireless program. - Comfortable in interpreting data to translate and present as business insights. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent technical subject area. - 5+ years of relevant experience in the networking/technology industry, with 2+ years in a Project Management position. - Demonstrated history and ability to take a leadership role in running programs. - Outstanding written, presentation, and verbal communication skills. - Practical work experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies with Jira. - Deep technical proficiency in Networking, Cloud Architecture, Development and Deployment, Build & Release systems. - Demonstrable ability to influence business partners and supporting teams. - Experience in integrating and delivering Networking Systems and Infrastructure solutions at scale. - Programming experience in Software Development or Testing with exposure to Unix.
