Role Overview

Engineering Manager

You will mentor engineers, make architectural decisions, partner cross-functionally with product, finance, sales, and global engineering leaders, and ensure delivery of high-performance, secure, resilient systems.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Delivery

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team with a culture of ownership, autonomy, and continuous learning.
• Drive engineering excellence with scalable, reliable, cloud-native solutions across the revenue technology stack.
• Ensure high code quality, strong engineering discipline, and predictable, on-time delivery.

Technical Ownership

• Provide hands-on technical guidance in

  Java, Python, JavaScript

  , microservices, workflow automation, and cloud-native architectures.
• Architect and deliver solutions across billing, pricing, Q2C, revenue modeling, commissions, and payments.
• Lead system design, estimations, SLO/SLA definitions, and performance optimization for high-scale distributed systems.

AI, Automation & Innovation

• Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and guide teams in building AI-powered features and tools.
• Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, test automation, observability, DevOps, and fast-flow delivery.

Cross-Functional Influence

• Collaborate with global Product Managers, Finance leaders, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure platform alignment to business outcomes.
• Partner with other Engineering Managers to drive architectural consistency and shared platform capabilities.

Platform Integration & Compliance

• Deliver integration with enterprise systems including

  Salesforce, Oracle, Informatica, Stripe, Sidetrade

  , and internal workflow engines.
• Ensure audit readiness, security compliance, and system resilience across all revenue processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least

  3 years leading engineering teams

  .
• Expertise in Java / Python / JavaScript and distributed microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  AWS or GCP

  , Kubernetes, Docker, REST/OpenAPI, Kafka or messaging frameworks.
• Experience in finance tech, billing systems, payment workflows, CPQ, or quote-to-cash platforms.
• Strong architectural thinking and the ability to balance hands-on support with strategic leadership.
• Proven success in matrixed, global engineering environments.
