Engineer - Vendor Development

As an Engineer - Vendor Development, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors in the Machine Tools or Machinery Industry. Your main tasks will include working closely with vendors to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of products. To excel in this role, you should have a DME or BE Mechanical qualification with a minimum of 5 years of experience for DME qualified individuals or 3 years for BE-Mechanical qualified individuals. Additionally, you should possess knowledge in all Machining processes, Heat Treatment & Surface Coating processes, Material knowledge including MS, SS, and Alloy steels, Drawing Study/Draw knowledge, and process planning knowledge. Your role will also require you to have expertise in Quality Inspection of manufacturing components, excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, and the ability to make regular visits to their sites. You will be expected to provide technical solutions to other departments, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and any manufacturing knowledge will be considered an added advantage. Furthermore, you must have a two-wheeler with a valid license to fulfill the additional requirement for this position.
