Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for raw materials, cutting tools, hardware and secondary processes like hardening, surface treatment etc.,
Negotiate with vendors for cost, delivery timelines, payment terms, and quality.
Release purchase orders (POs) in line with production requirements and follow up for on-time delivery.
Develop a strong vendor base for critical and long lead-time items.
Build long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers.
Track vendor performance on delivery, quality, and cost.

Key skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain planning.
Familiarity with raw materials and components specific to Mechanical parts manufacturing
Proficiency in SAP software
