Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare
detailed rate analysis
for civil works including concrete, masonry, finishing, and structural activities.
Perform
cost estimation
for projects based on drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Maintain and update
market rate databases
for materials, equipment, and labour resources.
Evaluate vendor quotations and assist in
cost comparisons and negotiations
.
Prepare and review
BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
and assist in tender submissions.
Coordinate with procurement, design, and execution teams to ensure cost and plan alignment.
Develop and monitor
L1 level project schedules
and assist in progress tracking.
Support
value engineering
initiatives and identify cost optimization opportunities.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and site teams for estimation and planning-related inputs.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
57 years of experience
in civil estimation, planning, or cost control within construction projects.
Strong understanding of
rate analysis, quantity take-offs, and market rate fluctuations.
Proficiency in
MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project
, and estimation tools (e.g., Candy, Primavera, or similar).
Excellent
communication and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple estimates simultaneously.
