Evaluate vendor quotations and assist in cost comparisons and negotiations . Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and assist in tender submissions. Coordinate with procurement, design, and execution teams to ensure cost and plan alignment. Develop and monitor L1 level project schedules and assist in progress tracking. Support value engineering initiatives and identify cost optimization opportunities. Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and site teams for estimation and planning-related inputs. Desired Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering. 57 years of experience in civil estimation, planning, or cost control within construction projects. Strong understanding of rate analysis, quantity take-offs, and market rate fluctuations. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project , and estimation tools (e.g., Candy, Primavera, or similar). Job Title: Billing / Quantity Surveying (QS) Engineer Department: Projects / Billing & Contracts Experience Required: 4 - 7 Years Location: Head Office / Project Sites (as required) Industry: Industrial Construction / Civil Contracting Job Purpose To manage project billing, quantity take-offs, cost monitoring, and contract compliance to ensure accurate financial tracking and timely invoicing for industrial construction projects. The Billing/QS Engineer will coordinate closely with site teams, clients, consultants, and internal departments to maintain precise documentation and support smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities 1. Billing & Measurement Prepare RA Bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements as per contract conditions. Conduct detailed site measurements and verify contractor/vendor bills. Ensure timely submission and certification of client bills. Maintain accurate records of joint measurements and site measurement books. 2. Quantity Estimation & BOQ Preparation Prepare and verify BOQ, quantity take-offs, and material requirement sheets from drawings and specifications. Evaluate quantity variations and support preparation of revised estimates. 3. Cost Monitoring & Control Track project-wise costs, consumption, and budget utilization. Conduct rate analysis for civil, structural, and industrial works. Assist in forecasting project financials and cost-to-complete statements. 4.
