Job Description

Work with the Project Consultant Engineering team to design plant mechanical equipment and piping requirements.

Principal Job Accountabilities:

Work with the Project Consultant Engineering team for designing plant mechanical equipment and piping requirements.
Finalize project specifications for mechanical equipment and piping as per the latest design standards.
Monitor and track engineering deliverables for the project.
Understand and follow project design best practices.
Provide project design consultancy based on the Basic Engineering Package.
Monitor the status of project engineering (designing) and communicate relevant information to stakeholders.
Prepare and review MTO (Material Take Off) List and BOQ (Bill of Quantity) to facilitate procurement activities.
Prepare and review equipment manufacturing drawings, GA (General Arrangement) drawings.
Responsible for assigned projects from initial development. This requires meetings with users to fully determine their needs and fulfilling the same.
Conduct project review meetings to identify issues and plan countermeasures.

Skills and Academic Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification:
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Relevant Experience:
5 to 9 years of experience in the field of chemical/petrochemical/refinery project designing, vendor development for project consultancy/design.
Should have experience in project activities from the grassroots level.
