Job Description

**Role Overview:** As a Signal Integrity Engineer at Molex, you will be responsible for leading signal integrity and power integrity analysis and simulation for high-speed interconnect products. You will play a crucial role in developing advanced simulation models, optimizing electrical performance, participating in new product development cycles, collaborating with global teams, providing technical leadership, conducting lab testing, and troubleshooting complex SI/PI challenges. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of Molex's product portfolio and the seamless integration of interconnect solutions into various high-speed applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis and simulation for high-speed interconnect products. - Develop advanced simulation models and methodologies for products, ensuring high correlation with measurement data. - Drive pre- and post-layout analysis for complex designs, optimizing electrical performance. - Participate in new product development cycles and guide connector/PCB design from concept to production. - Collaborate with global teams to deliver tailored interconnect solutions for high-speed applications. - Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior engineers, ensuring project success. - Conduct lab testing and validation using advanced equipment to confirm compliance with industry standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex SI/PI challenges in system-level designs. - Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and recommend solutions. - Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in product development processes. - Document and present findings, simulation results, and design guidelines to stakeholders. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred). - Experience: At least 5-8 years of professional experience in signal integrity and power integrity engineering. - Expertise in electromagnetic theory, transmission line theory, and high-speed PCB design principles. - Advanced proficiency in simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, Cadence Sigrity, Mentor HyperLynx, etc. - Hands-on experience with lab equipment including VNAs, TDRs, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers. - Knowledge of high-speed protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR, and optical standards. - Familiarity with PCB design tools and manufacturing processes. - Skills: Strong leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Competencies: Ability to manage multiple projects, commitment to continuous learning, and innovation. **Additional Details of the Company:** At Molex, you will have the opportunity to lead cutting-edge projects, drive innovation, and collaborate with industry experts.
