Job Description

Role

Selection and design of cutting tools for machining applications
Preparation and interpretation of 2D and 3D tool designs using AutoCAD and 3D software
Study and apply Isometric views, GD&T, and basic fixture concepts
Calculate and optimize process cost, cycle time, and tool cost per component
Troubleshoot issues related to cutting tools and process performance
Provide technical support for CNC turning and machining centres
Contribute to part prove-out and process validation activities
Work closely with production and quality teams to improve machining performance
Understand basics of CNC programming and contribute to process improvements (added advantage).
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, Kaizen, and problem-solving activities.
