Engineer - Quality Assurance - Operation

As an Engineer - Quality Assurance, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining utility equipment at peak performance by utilizing your skills in maintenance, leadership, and technical expertise. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the team in a collaborative manner to achieve organizational goals - Facilitating proactive solutions through the collection and analysis of quality data - Handling customer complaints and customer witness inspections - Conducting deep dive analyses to identify root causes of issues - Demonstrating knowledge of quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA, 8D, Poka-yoke, Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), TPM - Possessing expertise in NDT (PT, VT, RT) and welding processes like TIG, MIG - Holding ISO 9001 -2015 Lead Auditor certification - Familiarity with SAP QM - Working in shifts and having fluency in English Qualifications required: - BE Mechanical / Production from a reputed institute - Total experience of 4 to 5 years in Quality Assurance / Quality Management - Previous experience in the Automotive sector preferred In this role, your expected job responsibilities will include: - Ensuring the reliability and consistency of production processes and final output - Maintaining company quality standards and meeting all legal requirements - Monitoring quality assurance KPIs and implementing action plans for improvement - Ensuring adherence to product specifications and correct procedures - Analyzing data to address quality issues and develop quality assurance plans - Keeping records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation - Utilizing various quality tools for problem-solving and validation - Conducting audits to ensure compliance with product, legal, and standards requirements - Publishing quality Management Information System (MIS) reports regularly - Supporting operations in root cause analysis This role will allow you to showcase your skills in quality assurance and contribute to the success of the manufacturing environment.,
