Engineer, Network & Security

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network security principles, hands-on experience with advanced security tools and firewall technologies, and the ability to design, implement, and maintain robust security policies across our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious behavior, anomalies, and potential threats.
• Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain and optimize firewall rules and configurations across multiple platforms (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Checkpoint, ASA).
• Design and support secure network architectures in collaboration with IT infrastructure teams.
• Administer and troubleshoot VPN technologies and remote access solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network and security engineers.
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing and securing enterprise-level networks.
• Strong hands-on experience with firewall technologies: Palo Alto, FortiGate, Checkpoint, and Cisco ASA.
• Proficiency in routing, switching, and overall network design and operations.
• Experience in network traffic analysis and the use of security monitoring tools.
• In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies, Cisco Umbrella, Meraki switches, WLC, and Access Points (APs).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in both LAN and WAN environments.
• Experience with SD-WAN implementation and support.
• Familiarity with load balancers and traffic distribution strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CEH, Palo Alto PCNSE, or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
