Job Description

Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to the Linux platform, including performance tuning and security enhancements.
Provide technical support by triaging and resolving for tier 2 and tier 3 technical issue and provide root cause analysis Manage Linux OS configurations drifts, specifically with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and SUSE. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Python to streamline system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain Linux OS platform. Document system configurations, procedures, and policies. Lead or participate on Large Cross Functional group projects. Mentor and coach less experienced staff in data capture and management. Knowledge on Other LINUX OS Platforms like, Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux, Debian Linux, Alma Linux. Knowledge of JBoss, Apache Tomcat etc., Proven experience as a Linux Platform Engineer, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and SUSE are preferred. Proficient in Python and Ansible scripting. Demonstrated expertise in Linux OS configuration management. Experience with RHEL LEAPP upgrades Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in a team-oriented environment. Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification for RHEL8 or equivalent are preferred. Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and embrace continuous learning.
