How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible forsupporting the varying needs of a Base Station Antenna factory. You must be capable of solving design issues, and recommending and documenting solutions. Also must be knowledgeable in manufacturing processes and technologies in order to support factory and part evaluations.Must act as liaison between the manufacturing site with global design centers. You will provide real time solutions to design issues discovered in the manufacturing process. This role will be based in Verna, Goa.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Independently evaluating, selectingand applyingstandard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in making design adaptations and modifications.
• Conductingfeasibility studies and working on new product development projects.
• Driving conceptual to detailed design, developing prototypes and conducting design validation.
• Preparingtechnical reports and designingspecifications to document the design process and outcomes.
• Supporting Supply chain Localization.
• Working closely with design engineers from varying design centers to solve design and manufacturing issues seen in the factory environment and within the vendor base.
• Dispositioning of materials that are non-conforming.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor's in related curriculum such as Mechanical Engineering with preferably 3-5 years relevant experience/master's with preferably 2-4 years relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge in electronic packaging principles with a preference in base station antenna design and manufacturing.
• Core experience in new product design and structural analysis with Ansys or related tools.
• Experience in sheet metal and plastic components' design and manufacturing.
• Ability to applyGD&T in design/drawings and perform subsystem tolerance analysis.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software SolidWorks and SAP preferred.
