Job Responsibilities :

Job Accountabilities

• Perform round the clock Shift duty, to keep Fire crew ready for responding to any emergency on 24X7 basis ; Manage all fire prevention and fire protection activities related to Shore base, Guest Houses, Warehouses, LFP. This will include maintenance of all extinguishers, Hydrants, monitors maintenance of all records of these extinguishers and any other issue related to Fire Prevention and Protection.

• Maintenance of firefighting system: prepare monthly inspection and maintenance plan, on the basis of approved annual maintenance plan and get it approved; Inspection and maintenance of all Firefighting systems and equipment as per monthly plan; Coordinate with Fire engineer (procurement) for timely procurement of all spare parts, consumables and prepare monthly Maintenance report and deviation report at the end of the month.

• Hassle free shift operations & management of shift activities ;
• Maintenance of all fixed, portable and mobile firefighting appliances
• 100 % coverage on training of fire personnel and plant staff for firefighting skills.
• Zero time loss in responding to any emergency/ Fire call.
• Firefighting and rescue technique.
• Good computer operating skills (MS office)
