Engine Field Service Technician - Level II

Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, your primary responsibility is to interact with customers courteously and professionally to ensure prompt and efficient attention to their needs. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and completing less complex repairs on engines using specialized tools and documented procedures. Additionally, you will perform preventative maintenance activities on engines and related components in the field. Key Responsibilities: - Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner, identifying additional service opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction. - Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete less complex engine repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools. - Perform preventative maintenance activities according to documented schedules and standards on engines and related components in the field. - Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisors for further assistance. - Complete required documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents, through handwritten forms or business system input screens. - Complete required training to maintain and enhance skills in line with business needs. - Maintain service vehicle and tools to ensure cleanliness and proper operation. - Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any incidents to site management and supervisors. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in engine repair and maintenance is preferred. - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers. - Ability to follow documented procedures and use specialized tools for repair and maintenance tasks. - Willingness to complete required training to enhance skills and meet business needs. - Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance regulations is a plus.,
