Engine Field Service Technician - Level III

You will be the technical specialist and primary customer support contact responsible for diagnosing and executing complex repairs to engine products at the customer's site. You will establish and continually develop productive customer relations, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to customer needs. Applying the use of specialized tools and following documented procedures and policies, you will diagnose and complete complex repairs at the customer site. In addition, you will perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on engines and related components in the field. Any unresolved issues will be escalated to product specialists or your supervisor. You will also coach and develop technicians and/or apprentices, transferring knowledge and experience to others, providing work direction, and reviewing repair plans and parts lists. Completing required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens will also be part of your responsibilities. Identifying additional sales and service opportunities with customers, completing training in line with skill and business requirements, maintaining service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation, and ensuring adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation are crucial aspects of this role. Any issues or incidents should be reported to site management and your supervisor.
