Location : Pune Role : Backend Developer - Laravel Experience : 3- 5 Years About The Role We are looking for a highly resourceful, self-motivated PHP Laravel Developer who is passionate about coding, innovation, and delivering scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PHP (Laravel framework), MySQL, and front-end technologies and be capable of handling the full software development life cycle. Key Responsibilities (KRAs) Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP (Laravel framework) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of applications Maintain and optimize existing codebase for performance improvements Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner Translate business requirements into well-structured technical solutions Create and maintain technical documentation for future reference Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement front-end components Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards Implement security best practices to safeguard application data Required Skill Sets Strong proficiency in PHP with Laravel framework (v8 and above preferred) Solid understanding of MySQL database design, queries, and optimization Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries Familiarity with version control tools like Git Knowledge of web application security practices (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection) Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles Experience with task runners and package managers (Composer, npm) Good grasp of Agile/Scrum development methodologies Familiarity with deployment tools and basic server management (Apache/Nginx) Nice To Have (Optional) Experience with Vue.js, React, or any JavaScript framework Exposure to AWS, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of business intelligence tools or data analytics Educational Qualification Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (ref:hirist.tech) Show more Show less
