Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Location: Industrial Area, Sultanate of Oman
Salary: OMR 500 per month

We are currently hiring a qualified and experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join a well-established healthcare facility based in the industrial area of Oman. This role is ideal for skilled professionals who are capable of delivering immediate emergency care in high-pressure environments, particularly in trauma cases. The EMT will play a vital role in responding to emergency situations, delivering pre-hospital care, and ensuring the safe and effective transport of patients to healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide appropriate medical assistance on-site.
Administer first aid, CPR, and trauma support as necessary to stabilize patients.
Drive and operate ambulances safely and responsibly, following all traffic and safety regulations.
Monitor patients during transport and provide continuous medical care as required.
Communicate effectively with dispatch units, hospital staff, and patients to ensure seamless handovers and documentation.
Accurately record patient information and treatment provided during the emergency response.
Inspect and maintain ambulance equipment and medical supplies regularly to ensure readiness at all times.
Collaborate with emergency response teams and hospital personnel during critical interventions.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of total professional experience, with at least 2 years specifically in trauma care and emergency medical services.
Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent qualification is required before deployment.
Licensing: A valid ambulance driving license is mandatory and must be presented at the time of application.
Certifications:
Dataflow verification must be completed
Prometric exam must be passed
Age Limit: Applicants must be 35 years old or below.
Strong ability to function efficiently under pressure in critical care and trauma environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with both patients and medical teams.
Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is considered an advantage.
Physically fit and emotionally resilient to handle the demands of emergency medical work.
A team player with a commitment to ethical patient care and safety.
Contract Duration: As per hospital policy (renewable)
