Job Description

Embedded Engineer II (Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation)

Description
- Design / Build custom test fixtures and tools
- Design / Implement test automation infrastructure
- Subject matter expert on Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.
- Create test scripts that meet the team definition of done
- Run automated regressions, review failures, make adjustment to scripts as needed.
- Troubleshoot and Maintain existing test fixtures. Includes debugging hardware and software
- Able to work in Firmware Verification, System / Product Verification or Solution Verification
- Work with cross functional agile teams located at multiple Honeywell locations around the globe

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- 2 to 3 Years of experience in Embedded product testing and validation
- 2 years’ Experience with Object Oriented programming
  - Python Scripting and LabView
  - Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.
  - Experience with software management tools (SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, etc.)
  - Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  - Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  - Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  - Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision
  - Preferred - Experience with Embedded Systems (testing or developing)
  - Preferred – Embedded Product Testing Experience ( Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc. )
  - Preferred – Experience on Web automation and desktop application automation
  - Preferred – Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Rally, etc.)
