Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Email HTML Developer. The Email HTML Developer will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality email templates, implementing responsive designs, and ensuring aesthetic consistency across devices. Daily tasks include collaborating with team members to design visually appealing email campaigns, coding email templates using HTML and CSS, optimizing designs for performance, and troubleshooting any email rendering issues. The role requires attention to detail and effective communication with various teams.

Qualifications

Email HTML Designer

• Design and code 50+ HTML email templates 
• Update all existing email automation flows with modern, mobile-optimized designs 
• Create new templates for daily promotional campaigns 
• Ensure all designs are Klaviyo-compatible and render perfectly across devices

• Deliver 10+ new HTML email designs per week 
• Support A/B testing initiatives with design variations 
• Optimize templates based on performance data 
• Maintain and update template library as needed

• What You'll Do

   

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and code HTML/CSS email templates optimized for conversions 
• Ensure all emails are mobile-responsive and render properly across all major email clients 
• Translate brand guidelines into consistent, high-performing email designs 
• Implement best practices for email deliverability and inbox placement 
• Create modular template systems that allow for quick campaign deployment 

Technical Requirements:

• Expert-level proficiency in email-specific HTML/CSS (table-based layouts, inline CSS, etc.) 
• Deep understanding of email client rendering quirks (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, etc.) 
• Experience with responsive email design and mobile optimization 
• Familiarity with Klaviyo or similar ESP platforms
