About the Role

3–5 years of professional experience


This is a hands-on role where you’ll take responsibility from schematic design to fabrication handover, and testing, ensuring performance, reliability, and seamless integration within full product systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end PCB design for product-level electronic systems.
  • Translate customer requirements and system-level specifications into detailed electronic designs.
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and production-ready design files.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical and ID teams to ensure proper enclosure fit, thermal performance, and connector placement.
  • Work with firmware engineers to ensure smooth hardware–software integration.
  • Select components considering availability, cost, performance, and lifecycle.
  • Prepare BOMs, Gerbers, pick-and-place files, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to ensure DFM and DFA compliance.
  • Support prototype bring-up, debugging, and validation testing.
  • Maintain version control, documentation, and design quality across iterations.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.


Technical Skills

  • Prior experience in schematic design and PCB layout tools (Fusion Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar).
  • Experience designing multi-layer PCBs.
  • Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, regulators, and battery-based systems.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc.).
  • Understanding of signal integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC best practices.
  • Experience preparing manufacturing-ready files and documentation.
  • Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles for PCB fabrication and assembly.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB bring-up, testing, and debugging using lab equipment.

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative development environments.

Experience Required

  • 3–5 years of full-time experience

    in electronics design and PCB development.
  • Prior experience working on complete hardware products (not just boards in isolation).
  • Experience taking PCBs from concept through fabrication and assembly.
  • Experience working with external vendors and manufacturers is a strong plus.
