Electronics PCB Design Engineer

As an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications for new products or systems. You will design single-sided, double-sided, and multi-layered PCBs using industry-standard techniques. Additionally, you will create 3D models and assemblies from 2D layouts and format and archive data for supply to PCB manufacturers. Your knowledge of library creation, library database management, EMI/EMC issues, and layout practices for mitigation will be crucial in this role. You will also be responsible for designing PCBs for various applications such as embedded systems, power electronics, signal processing, and communication systems. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications - Design single-sided, double-sided, and multi-layered PCBs - Create 3D models and assemblies from 2D layouts - Format and archive data for supply to PCB manufacturers - Knowledge of library creation and library database management - Understanding of EMI/EMC issues and layout practices for mitigation - Design PCBs for various applications - Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments - Prototype and test hardware designs - Work closely with PCB designers - Document design specifications, test procedures, and results - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field - 1-2 years of experience in electronics hardware design, preferably in Industrial Automation Domain - Proficiency in PCB layout tools e.g., Altium Designer - Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles - Familiarity with microcontrollers, FPGAs, DSPs, and power management circuits - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations - Excellent problem-solving skills - Attention to detail - Effective communication skills,
