Factory Electrician – Job Description Position: Electrician Location: Factory / Industrial Unit Department: Maintenance Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment inside the factory. Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution to avoid production delays. Inspect electrical panels, wiring, circuits, motors, and control systems regularly. Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines such as motors, PLC panels, conveyors, compressors, etc. Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and factory regulations. Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and spare parts usage. Assist in machine installation and commissioning tasks. Identify and report potential electrical hazards to management. Coordinate with production and engineering teams for smooth operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Electrician or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an Industrial/Factory Electrician. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, AC/DC motors, control panels, and wiring. Ability to read electrical drawings, blueprints, and circuit diagrams. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Understanding of electrical safety rules and PPE usage. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in shifts if required. Physically fit and able to handle factory environment. Good teamwork and communication skills.
