Roles & Responsibilities: TDS and statutory Compliance: · Design and implement a TDS & TCS Compliance Process, whereby appropriate TDS is deducted and TCS is collected. · Ensure timely payment and filing of returns dealing with withholding tax implication on foreign remittances. · Assist and co-ordinate with consultant for filing of Form 15CB and preparation of Form 15CA. · Respond to TDS notices (from taxation department and other revenue authorities) and resolve resultant queries. · Ensure statutory filing such as tax audit reports, income tax returns of all the group companies. · Having sound knowledge of personal and employee taxation. Assessments and appeals / Finalization: · Preparing reply along with details to income tax assessment notices, transfer pricing notices, TDS notices from time to time. · Assist in filing of details / document with respect to various litigation/appeals / notices by tax authorities will be advantage. · Assist in finalizing tax provisions for the year-end, compute tax / deferred tax liability (Stand alone+ Consolidated) will be advantage. · Provide all the relevant data to auditors for tax audit and other statutory audit. Audit, Regulatory and Compliance: · Assist in finalization of details with respect to Tax and TP audits by reviewing all annexures and supporting documents. · Prepare for and attend statutory, internal audits, Tax due diligence, Company Closure, Corporate Restructuring, Merger, Demerger and its income tax treatment.
