Roles & Responsibilities: Controllership: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. Accounting, reporting, and upgrading internal controls, systems and processes. Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Closing books and accounts, finalisation of balance sheet and annual reports as per Ind-AS. Audits: Oversee statutory and internal audits. MIS & Business planning: Provide the quality accounting data in time-bound manner to FP&A function which own the entire financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and project controls for the pan-India operations of the organization. Ensure accounts support to treasury, cash flow and fundraising team in a seamless manner. Accounts payable: Lead the payments function for businesses which shall include sub-functions like vendor payments, employee claims and payments related to TDS among other things. Regulatory Compliance: Comprehend and act on the compliance specific to this industry. Business partnership: Alignment with businesses for catering to their financial requirements. Identify and evaluate opportunities to further growth of the organisation both from a top-line and bottom-line perspective.
