Job Description -

Electrical Installation & Maintenance:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and equipment.

Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems and troubleshoot faults when they occur.

Upgrade or replace outdated or malfunctioning electrical equipment to improve operational efficiency.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:

Diagnose electrical issues and determine the appropriate course of action for repair.

Use various diagnostic tools, such as multimeters and infrared cameras, to identify issues.

Ensure that all repairs and installations comply with electrical codes and safety regulations.

Preventive Maintenance:

Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems, motors, and other equipment.

Monitor electrical systems for irregularities and take proactive measures to avoid system failures.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.

Ensure all electrical work meets local, state, and federal codes and standards.

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance and repairs.

Provide technical support and guidance to other departments and workers in the facility.

Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to resolve electrical issues and maintain system uptime.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance activities.

Document parts and materials used during repairs and installations for inventory management.

Troubleshooting Production Equipment:

Support troubleshooting and repair of production machinery and automation systems that rely on electrical components.

Assist in setting up and maintaining electrical connections for new production lines or machinery.

Emergency Response:

Respond quickly and efficiently to electrical emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
