Role Overview: We are seeking a talented Commis 1 – Pastry & Bakery Chef with 2–4 years of experience in pastry making, desserts, and bakery operations. The ideal candidate should be innovative, detail-oriented, and capable of producing high-quality products consistently. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing and presenting a wide variety of pastries, breads, cakes, desserts, and baked goods. Follow standard recipes, portion control, and food presentation guidelines. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the pastry kitchen. Ensure proper storage of ingredients and baked products. Support senior chefs in menu development and new recipe trials. Monitor stock levels and inform the team of any shortages. Adhere to food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards. Requirements Experience: 2–4 years in pastry & bakery (hotel, restaurant, or patisserie experience preferred). Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, doughs, chocolates, and dessert plating. Ability to work under pressure and deliver within timelines. Creative flair with a keen eye for detail.
